Some men ran to find the friar. They soon came back with him. He was carrying a fat deer on his back.

Twenty-four brave bowmen came running to the church (двадцать четыре храбрых лучника вбежали в церковь). And Alan-a-Dale brought Robin's bow and gave it to him (Алан Дейл принес лук Робина и отдал его ему).
