1/2 чашки овсяных хлопьев быстрого приготовления

2 столовые ложки кукурузной крупы среднего помола

2 столовые ложки натурального кленового сиропа

1 чайная ложка натурального ванильного экстракта

Заранее разогрейте духовку до 190 °С.

В емкости среднего размера соедините варенье, лимонный сок и мускатный орех. Добавьте персики и тщательно перемешайте, чтобы распределить их равномерно. Посыпьте сверху мукой и снова хорошо перемешайте. Переместите фрукты в квадратную форму для выпечки со стороной 23 см (не смазанную маслом) и запекайте, пока они не станут мягкими — около 30 минут.

Пока пекутся фрукты, в маленькой посуде смешайте овсяные хлопья и кукурузную крупу. Соедините кленовый сироп и ванильный экстракт и добавьте эту смесь к хлопьям. Тщательно перемешайте.

Вытащите крисп из духовки и убавьте огонь до 180 °С. Пальцами разотрите овсяную смесь в крошку и посыпьте ею фрукты, стараясь распределить ее равномерно. Выпекайте 15 минут.

Охладите крисп в течение 15 минут, а затем большой ложкой разложите его по тарелочкам. Его можно подавать как теплым, так и охлажденным до комнатной температуры.

Пышный шоколадный пудинг

Когда мы подаем этот очень богатый на вкус и одновременно диетиче­ский шоколадный пудинг в последний день программы Макдугалла, участники всегда испытывают шок, когда узнают, что он приготовлен только из соевого молока, без использования сливок или даже тофу. Также они с радостью узнают, что данный пудинг можно легко воспроизвести у себя дома. Им становится совершенно ясно, что новый образ жизни не потребует от них никаких лишений!

Приготовление — 10 минут

Остывание — 2 часа

Количество порций — 4–6

3/4 чашки гранулированного сахара

1/2 чашки обезжиренного какао-порошка

3 столовые ложки кукурузного крахмала

3 чашки соевого молока

1 1/2 чайной ложки натурального ванильного экстракта

В небольшой кастрюльке перемешайте сахар, какао, крахмал и соевое молоко до исчезновения комочков. Доведите до кипения на среднем огне, а затем томите, аккуратно, но непрерывно помешивая, пока масса не начнет густеть.

Уберите с огня и добавьте ванильный экстракт. Вылейте пудинг в большую десертную форму или разлейте по 4–6 креманкам. Накройте пластиковой крышкой и уберите в холодильник по крайней мере на 2 часа. Хранить пудинг можно в течение дня.

Подавайте холодным.
