Крутился мишка, вертелся, пытался от пчел отбиваться. Лапами когтистыми махал, да все бесполезно. Ни одной пчелы не сумел зацепить. А у самого медведя, уже, и нос весь распух и глаза заплыли, только узкие щелочки остались. А все, никак к улью подобраться не может.
Наконец, не выдержал Косая Лапа пчелиных укусов. Повернулся, и, что есть духу, стал улепетывать прочь от улья. Только, подошвы медвежьих лап сверкают.
А пчелы летят следом и жалят мишку в эти, самые, подошвы.
А потом, пчелки вернулись обратно домой, в улей.
Надо маленьких пчелок накормить сладким медом, спать уложить в кроватки и спеть им колыбельную.
А медведю поделом! На чужой каравай рот не разевай!
HOW BEES PUNISHED AN EVIL AND GREEDY BEAR
Once, a bear, Clumsy Paw, walked through a forest, hungry, seeking for some food to eat. Suddenly, he saw a bee Buzzy, flying towards him.
– Hello, bear, Clumsy Paw!
– Hello you, too, little Bee Buzzy! Where do you fly to?
– I’m flying to the far meadow. The red, sweet, clover bloomed in there.

And then the bear came out of the forest tired, hungry and angry.

САМЫЙ БОЛЬШОЙ ДРУГ
Жил да был на свете орел. Он был большой и сильный. Высоко летал орел над полями, лесами и горами. Добычу себе высматривал.
Но, однажды, когда орел летел над одним селом, вдруг, раздался выстрел и орел упал на землю.
Истекающего кровью орла увидел воробей, который пролетал мимо. Воробей очень испугался и хотел улететь прочь.
– Помоги мне!– Прошептал орел чуть слышно.– Охотник ранил меня и повредил мне крыло.
– Но, ты, же, можешь съесть меня!– Ответил воробей.
– Нет, я не трону тебя! – Сказал орел чуть слышно.– Даю тебе слово орла!
Воробей нащипал целебной травы подорожника и перевязал орлу рану. Потом, воробей слетал к дальней кринице и принес орлу ключевой воды в ковшике. Еще, воробей натаскал орлу кусочков мяса, которые он утащил на деревенском свадебном пиршестве.
Так и ухаживал воробей за орлом, пока тот полностью не окреп и не выздоровел.
– Спасибо тебе, маленький воробей! – Сказал орел на прощанье.– Отныне, ты мой самый большой друг.
И орел взмахнул крыльями и улетел в далекое голубое небо…
Как то, летит воробей по саду. Чирикает. Солнышку радуется.
Вдруг, откуда ни возьмись, кошка! Прыг, цап воробья! В острых когтях зажала, съесть собирается.
И, тут, словно вихрь налетел. Это орел разглядел с небес, в какую беду попал воробей и ринулся ему на помощь.
Камнем упал орел на кошку. Бьёт ее крыльями мощными. Когтями острыми царапает. Клювом изогнутым, крючковатым, долбит.
Зашипела кошка. Выпустила воробья из своих лап. Стала когтями от орла отбиваться. Потом, видит, что не справиться ей с орлом. Повернулась кошка и бросилась наутек к ближайшему дровянику.
А тут, и воробей от кошачьих лап немного оправился. Перышки помятые разгладил и спрашивает у орла:
– Я такой маленький и слабый, а ты такой большой и сильный. Но, ты за меня заступился. Из беды меня выручил. Почему?
– Потому, что ты мой друг.– Ответил орел.– Ты мой самый большой друг.
Дружба, она, ведь, не размерами меряется, но, храбростью и добротой познается.
THE GREATEST FRIEND
